The wide sandy beach (with a good surf) is 400 yards from the edge of the campsite – a pleasant walk or cycle through the dunes. Close to a magnificent beach and lake, Le Vieux Port is located in a beautiful pine forest and offers an exceptional variety of facilities for all ages. Whilst peaceful in low season, this site becomes lively during the months of July and August with an extensive organised programme of entertainment.

The lakeside resort of Port d’Albret is a short walk away and Messanges is 3 kilometres away. The coastal resort of Labenne is a short drive away, popular with watersports and nature enthusiasts alike, with its vast forest and nature reserve. Historical Bayonne is slightly further away where there are several guided tours you can choose from and is also perfect for browsing the shops, with many restaurants to choose from. Closer to parc is the Atlantic water park at Seignosse, perfect for a family day out.

The campsite is located in the characteristic region of Les Landes, known for its vast pine forests and beautiful sandy beaches on the Atlantic coast.
About a mile from the campsite a forest cycle path links many of the pretty market towns like Messanges and Vieux Boucau.
