Camping les Catalpas is a relaxed family-friendly campsite close to the resort of St-Georges-de-Didonne and the beaches of the Bay of Biscay. Located on the banks of the river Lot, this quiet site has spacious pitches under the shade of willow trees.

Enjoy a spot of fishing on the river, or hire a canoe on site for a paddling adventure. The river is also great for swimming, or you can relax by the swimming pool. There are also some excellent beaches just a mile away. The campsite has a fantastic range of amenities including an on site restaurant, bar, bakery and games area. There's a children's playground as we as a children's club in high season.

Camping les Catalpas is just 3.5mls from the stylish resort Royan, which has a modern cathedral and excellent seafood restaurants. Further along the coast, Palmyre is home to local markets, a fantastic beach and the popular Palmyre Zoo. If you fancy a relaxing day at the beach, try the beautiful Plage de Suzac or Plage de Vergnes which tend to be quieter.
