The parc is simple but friendly and features a swimming pool; children’s play area, games room, snack bar and a small shop. This area of France is famous for its oysters and potatoes and there are many restaurants scattered through the islands villages where you can enjoy the authentic dishes.

With a 200m² swimming pool and a separate paddling pool, this parc promises hours of fun for all the family. The pool plays host to regular aquagym and water polo sessions as well as night swimming events. Once you’ve got the heart rate up with an activity class, why not wind down in the free Jacuzzi?

For the more energetic, the waters of Ile De Re are great for water sports enthusiasts where you can enjoy windsurfing, sailing and yachting, Why not leave the car at the parc and hire yourself a bike? With over 60 miles of adapted cycle tracks, which link all of the beaches and main villages, you can really enjoy this magnificent island and its slower pace of living to the full.

Explore the charming harbour-side village of Loix en Ré on foot, by bicycle, by canoe or even horse-drawn carriage, located within walking distance of the parc. The small, traditional village of La Flotte is a short drive away, with narrow streets and pretty houses, and worth the trip for your souvenir from its popular market. Further afield is La Rochelle, with its aquarium, cathedral, restaurants and gardens, well worth a day out.
