Paradise for divers and snorkelersValamar Camping Marina, the first four star campsite on the east coast of Istria, it is a true paradise for families seeking peace and relaxation. Fans of water sports, snorkelling and diving will absolutely love this special resort near to Labin and Rabac.
The new pool complex is a further highlight of this particular campsite. And what’s more, this holiday destination also serves as the ideal base for exploring the regions of Istria and Kvarner.
Fun on the waterYou can enjoy the stunning panoramic view over the sea from the newly built pool complex, where you can relax on a sun lounger and read a good book. Your children will love splashing around and letting off some steam in the separate paddling pool or in the playground and have lots of fun with the other children during the activities that are organized during peak season. Why not go on a fantastic boat trip with your family or go swimming and snorkelling at the pebble beach? For families who love to travel, there are bikes available to rent, which you can use to explore the Istrian coastal region with picturesque towns including Rabac.
Fun underwaterAt Marina Campsite you will find one of the best diving centres in the Mediterranean. The range of diving spots makes diving in this region especially interesting. In immediate proximity to the campsite, you will find three baffles. Experienced divers can also explore the wreck of the Lina trading ship that sank near Cres Island in 1914. If you don’t have any diving experience, then you can try out the courses for beginners on offer at the diving centre. Here’s a little tip in case you are thinking of trying it out: on the 19th of August (2016) the diving centre is having a “Divers’ Day” to celebrate the centre’s 20th anniversary. You will be thinking about your exciting holiday at Marina Campsite for a long time.

Wij hebben een prima vakantie gehad. Hebben al diverse campings aan de Kroatische kust bezocht de afgelopen jaren en deze camping is zeker wat relaxter in vergelijking met anderen. Prettig personeel. Super mooi sanitair, overigens niet nodig voor ons i.v.m. huur-accommodatie met sanitair wat ook top was. Wij hebben hier fantastisch gesnorkeld, er is overigens een duikcentrum op de camping.

Wij hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad op deze camping. Zorg ervoor dat je wat extra doeken, tent bij het hebt voor wat extra schaduw. Ben je met een tent of caravan zorg voor stormbanden. Net buiten de camping zijn een paar prima restaurantjes. Veel honden op de camping, dat is trouwens op bijna alle kampeercampings in Istrië, echte campings waar honden welkom zijn. Prima hoor, alleen jammer dat enkele baasjes zich niet gedragen. Verder is de ligging van de camping met rondom zee heerlijk, altijd een windje en dat heb je hier wel nodig.

De beste combinatie voor een bezoek aan dit drukke deel van Istrië. Deze camping voelt minder druk aan dan de andere grote campings die wij in deze regio hebben bezocht. Een prachtige baai, heerlijk om te snorkelen. Het sanitair is keurig.

Fijne vakantie in Istrie gehad. Deze camping kan wel wat meer schaduw gebruiken, het was erg heet. Prettig open personeel. Weg naar de camping toe is wel een hele toer (10km), goed opletten hoor. In het plaatsje Labin kun je goed eten. Wanneer je de camping afgaat vind je ook enkele eetgelegenheden en een winkeltje.
