Camping Du Château is located near the quiet village of Granges-Aumontzey, on the edge of a forest in the French Vosges Mountains. It's a small, green, sustainable, and well-organized campsite with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Run by hospitable Dutch owners, the campsite is perfect for nature lovers, those seeking peace and quiet, and families who appreciate a small-scale setting. The atmosphere is relaxed and personal.

A green campsite with excellent facilities
Whether you explore nature or stay at the campsite, boredom is impossible here. Your breakfast can start in the morning with fresh bread that can be ordered at the campsite. For children, there's various play equipment spread throughout the grounds, as well as a sandbox and playing field. The recreation room is a great place to make new friends. During peak season, there's a lively, changing weekly entertainment program. You can also rent e-bikes or the bike trailer for a bike ride through the surrounding area. In good weather, take a dip in the beautiful outdoor pool (wheelchair accessible). And if you fancy a cup of coffee or a drink with a snack, visit the bar with its cozy terrace.

Where can I stay at Camping Du Château?
You can camp here on spacious, green pitches. For a little extra comfort, you can book a fully furnished, cozy safari tent suitable for 4 people (a 5th person is available upon request). For two people, the new Petit Loup's Bell Tent is highly recommended. This tent is comfortably furnished with a double bed, a kitchen, and a cozy terrace with a hammock. Both accommodations provide the ultimate glamping experience. Enjoy the outdoors to the fullest without compromising on comfort. Bed linen can be booked for both accommodations. For a more carefree stay, consider one of the beautifully furnished apartments for 2-3 people and 4-5 people.

The surroundings, nature, and excursions
Nature lovers and active holidaymakers will find plenty to enjoy in the Vosges Mountains. Directly from Camping Du Château, you can hike and cycle through the vast forests and rolling hills. Nearby are beautiful mountain lakes such as Lac de Gérardmer and Lac de Longemer, perfect for swimming, canoeing, and relaxing by the water. For an excursion, visit charming towns like Gérardmer and Épinal. Here you'll find shops, cozy terraces, and plenty of culture. The Vosges also offers plenty for active holidaymakers, with activities such as mountain biking, climbing, and hiking.
