Three-star campsite Le Clos de la Lère sits directly on the riverbank near the picturesque village of Cayriech, in the Midi-Pyrénées. Set between Montauban and Cahors, and just 12 km from Caussade, it’s a calm place to stay on a leafy, flower-filled site. Tucked between the striking regions of Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot and Aveyron, this area is ideal for walkers.

The pitches are spacious and comfortable, separated by hedges, with a number of pitches right by the river. For children there’s a large play meadow, a trampoline and a full play area. You’ll also find a pétanque court and multi-purpose sports pitches. Enjoy the pool, take part in aquagym classes, or join the shared sports tournaments (volleyball, table tennis and more).

Heated swimming pool
At the front of the campsite you’ll find a large, attractive pool—perfect for sunbathing, swimming lengths or simply unwinding. The water is pleasantly warm thanks to heating. Relax under thatched parasols on comfortable loungers.

Drinks, snacks and fresh bread
In high season, pop into the bar for a drink, an ice cream or a small snack. In the morning, the smell of fresh baguettes invites you to collect your bread here. Fancy trying something local? The small shop offers regional products. From time to time the owner cooks something tasty and campers can join a communal meal.

Outdoor action
Young children have plenty of space to play—on the playground and showing off on the trampoline. Table tennis and table football are also available. Want an active start? Do a circuit on the fitness equipment. Prefer the outdoors? Several walking and mountain-biking routes start from the campsite and run straight through nature.

Gorges, rocks and lush scenery
Besides sleepy medieval villages surrounded by greenery, there’s much more to explore nearby. A scenic drive takes you to the breathtaking Gorges d’Aveyron. Canoeing on the Aveyron River, with views of the surrounding gorges, is an experience for the whole family. Close by lies Najac, with an impressive fortress built against towering rock faces.
