Château la Forêt

Yelloh! Village la Forêt, tucked away from the bustle of Les Sables d’Olonne amidst rolling meadowland, is a small site set in the grounds of a château. The campsite facilities are set in converted buildings in the courtyard – the bar is the old stables, while the restaurant with open fire and oak beamed ceiling is in an ivy-clad outhouse.

La Forêt is a ten-minute walk from the village of St Julien-de-Landes, with a peaceful, rural setting in the parklands of a château. It has the feel of a country estate, offering shady pitches and facilities for the whole family. There’s plenty of space for the children to play, and two pools set either side of the château. There are three lakes for fishing and attractively converted ivy-clad stables house the bar and all of the main facilities.

Head through the stone archway into the château gardens and to the two pools beyond. Here you’ll find plenty of space to relax, plus a fun waterslide for the children. There is also a football pitch, volleyball court and playground. Keen fishermen can unwind in peace at one of the three lakes. Settle down for a spot of carp and roach fishing in idyllic surroundings.

Families travelling with small children please note that some of the treehouse pitches are located close to open water.
