Camping de la Chausselière is a delightful, small-scale campsite that offers a warm welcome. With just 81 pitches, it provides all the facilities needed for a relaxing holiday surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Vendée. Its location on the edge of Lake Chausselière is perfect for fishing enthusiasts, while a sailing school is also available for those who want to take to the water.

Pool and Play
The heated swimming pool can be covered or uncovered depending on the weather and features a terrace with sun loungers. Children can burn off energy in the playground, which includes a trampoline, or on the sports field. During the high season, the campsite organises regular activities. There is a snack bar for drinks and bites, plus a small shop selling local products and daily essentials.

Beyond the Beaches
While the sandy beaches of Saint-Jean-de-Monts are about an hour's drive away, the immediate area is packed with attractions. Don't miss the world-famous Puy du Fou theme park, the 'Cité des Oiseaux' bird sanctuary, or the medieval Bluebeard’s Castle (Château de Tiffauges). For a unique day out, drive 30 minutes to Trentemoult, a village of colourful former fishermen's cottages. From there, take the Navibus boat across the Loire to Nantes to discover Les Machines de l'île, home to a spectacular 12-metre-high mechanical elephant that walks along the quayside—an extraordinary experience!
