Enjoy a swimming pond, indoor swimming pool, restaurant and entertainment for young and old. It's all possible at Camping de Rammelbeek in the Twente village of Lattrop. Here, in the east of the Netherlands, you will find that wonderful combination of peace and quiet and conviviality.

Peaceful holidays in the countryside
The campsite is located near the charming village of Lattrop in Overijssel, less than two kilometres from the German border. The surroundings are very rural, with many meadows and woods. This allows you to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Many young families find De Rammelbeek an ideal holiday destination. There is a lot to do for children, but always with that typical cosiness of Twente. For example, it is quiet on the campsite after 10.30 pm.

Indoor or outdoor swimming?
That question can certainly be asked at Camping De Rammelbeek. You can swim in the indoor pool, but also in the open air. There is a swimming pond with small beaches (grass and sand) on the edge of the campsite. This is great fun, of course, but the floating climbing wall on the water is even more fun! Families can sunbathe and picnic on the shore.

Entertainment for young and old
Honk, honk! Don't be surprised if Bello the Train passes by. Get on board to be taken to the entertainment or to other fun places. Almost every day there are activities for children of all ages. Together they make the most beautiful works of art and play games. In the playgrounds, children quickly make friends. Furthermore, camping classics such as table tennis tables, jeu-de-boules and miniature golf courses are available.
All that tinkering, playing and sporting activities obviously make you hungry. Get something tasty in the snack bar or have a more extensive meal in the restaurant. This is very atmospheric, with an open fire. The terrace outside is a cosy gathering of many campers.

Nordhorn: 'Venice of the North
One of the nicest towns in the area is Nordhorn in Germany. Get in the car and 15 minutes later you are already there! A special feature of the city centre of Nordhorn is that it is completely surrounded by the river Vecht. This water city is therefore nicknamed 'Venice of the North'. Take a boat trip or enjoy a terrace by the water. There is also a beautiful zoo and you can enjoy shopping in Nordhorn.
