A special nature campsite in the Netherlands is De Lemeler Esch campsite. You don't have to go abroad for a holiday with exciting experiences. Come to De Lemeler Esch; located at the bottom of the Lemeler - and Archemerberg in the province of Overijssel 6 km. from the town of Ommen. It is time to enjoy and discover in Overijssel. You have very spacious, quiet camping pitches in the open field and often under the trees. From your holiday spot you can walk straight into the surrounding forest and onto the vast heath. For guests who cannot do without internet, WIFI is available throughout the campsite!

In the surroundings of De Lemeler Esch you will find plenty of cycling and walking possibilities . There is a snack bar and snack shop on site. To cool off, there is an outdoor swimming pool (heated). De Lemeler Esch does not have a normal camping shop, but a special Buitenlevenwinkel where you can go for delicious fresh local produce. , from vegetables and meat to honey and jam. And don't forget the play forest, the play and recreation room for the little ones! And then there is also an open-air theater, where you alternately enjoy circus acts, or bake sandwiches by the story fire.

During your stay at the Lemeler Esch campsite you can go to the Boscafé for a drink and a snack, a lunch or dinner and of course pancakes. Furthermore, cool off with a nice smoothie or an ice cream. In the camping shop you can find the necessities of life and tasty (organic) local products.

The Lemeler Esch is the nicest nature campsite in the Netherlands, to enjoy your well-deserved vacation and discover special features. With a discovery package in the pocket, the world of nature camping is not that small.

Discover the Vechtdal
Okay, the mountains may not be as high as abroad, but in the area there is certainly just so much to experience a special campsite. The Lemeler Esch lies against the Lemeler - and Archemerberg, in the municipality of Ommen and is part of the Vechtdal Overijssel. The river basin of the Vecht and the Regge, together with the dams of the ice age, have formed a beautifully varied area. And then also only 6 km. from the town of Ommen and close to the Hellendoorn adventure park and the Slagharen amusement park.
