Domaine de Chaussy is a natural paradise in the heart of an oak forest, located in the heart of southern Ardèche, a stone's throw from River Ardèche.

This is a site for campers who enjoy an active holiday in the sun with all the works: water fun, a French ambiance, spectacular activities and pleasant pursuits. And also with WiFi. The terrain has no fewer than 4 swimming pools including a special diving pool. The decoration in the swimming pool is most unusual. You can shower under a dolphin several metres high which squirts down water. And there are great slides!.... With so many activities, trips, entertainment and themed evenings, not to mention relaxation, children, teens and adults will be spoiled for choice!

The restaurant of the Domaîne de Chaussy, has Ardeche regional specialities, as well an international buffet. You’ll also find everything you need for a great French breakfast at the local shop, or you can eat on the go at the campsite’s snack space or ice cream stand.

Three clubs for three different age groups, all designed by our activities team to keep your kids full of fun! With the MinClub and the Kids’ Club: shows, water games, masks, tournaments... your older children will find their fun in the Teens’ Club where they can enjoy all sorts of sports tournaments, challenges and evenings full of excitement!

In the very heart of nature, come and explore our mountain bike trail with its twists, turns and bumps, or hit some balls in the shade of the oak trees that cover the miniature golf course. A bit tired? Fortunately the Spa is there for you! A mere several steps away from the river you’ll be able to enjoy canoeing and kayaking with your older children, or cast a line, relax and wait for the fish to bite. For the more land oriented, horseback excursions and long foot treks will surely satisfy.

Meander through the weekly market, every Thursday, at the charming village of Vallon-Pont-D'Arc. There you can buy regional, traditional products of all sorts that make for wonderful gifts to share with friends and loved ones upon your return, allowing them to experience a taste of your very best holiday memories.

Leisure activities nearby include thermal baths in Neyrac-les-Bains ; Its body-pampering center : hot tubs and hammam. Ardèche gorges (swimming, fresh water sports), Ardèche mountains regional nature park, Païolive Forest (near Vans), Pay-Ric waterfall (between Buzet and Lachamp Raphaël), and the southern Ardèche vineyards.

Visit the medieval town of Joyeuse, the caves of Aven d'Orgnac (caves and the Regional Museum of Prehistory) and of Aven Marzal and its Prehistoric Zoo, the Museum of Châtaignerie and the Lavender Museum.
