Du Bas Meygnaud is situated in the heart of the Dronne Valley. Brantôme, "The venise of the Périgord" is just 4km away. Camping du Bas Meygnaud is quiet and shady with 50 pitches. Their are 2 chalets and 2 mobil homes to rent .They are situated on the border of the campsite with beautiful views over the fields.

The campsite is a place to enjoy being with the family, either resting and enjoying nature or doing activities.It's a good place to meet people and make new friends. This campsite has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. They offer several activities and services throughout the season. Once a week, between July 15 and August 15, the campsite organises a live music evening with food, dancing in a relaxed atmosphere. At the restaurant they serve regional food, make their own pizzas and there are also snacks available.

Young families will have a wonderful time here. There's a nice swimmingpool with children's pool and a nice playground. In the high season the campsite provide music workshops and do-it-yourself activities. Take time out for a bite to eat in the restaurant. The North Dodogne is very green and known as Le Périgord Vert. Forests, hills, lakes, rivers and rocks provide a lot of natural activities such as: climbing, canoeing, moutainbiking, walking and fishing. The campsite is situated near 'Le Parc Regional Périgord-Limousin'. Here you can visit the botanic garden of Brantôme,'Alaije'. There is a truffle museum in Sorges, and several water mills in the area where you can learn how to make flour and walnut oil. A lot to discover!
