In the heart of the Dordogne Valley, Camping Les Deux Vallées sits near the small village of Vézac, around 8 km south-west of the beautiful historic town of Sarlat. This fantastic family campsite is perfectly located, making it easy to plan plenty of day trips to the region’s many sights. The site is mainly made up of touring pitches, and it also rents out sixteen mobile homes. These rentals are placed on the edge of the campsite, close to the fishing pond.
No chance of boredom at Les Deux Vallées
There’s a swimming pool on site, split into three sections. Anglers are well catered for too, with a fishing pond right on the campsite. In high season, the youngest children are kept entertained by the enthusiastic animation team, with morning crafts and games. For older children (7–12), fun activities are organised in the afternoons. Nearby you can of course go canoeing on the Dordogne (just 500 m from the campsite) or plan a day at an outdoor climbing park. Afterwards, while the children cool off in the pool, parents can unwind on the friendly terrace.
Plenty to do and see
Great outings nearby include the caves of La Roque-Gageac (3 km) and Domme (7 km), the Château de Beynac (1 km) and Castelnaud (2 km). Sarlat is also well worth a visit. With the Dordogne River less than a kilometre away as the crow flies, Les Deux Vallées is an excellent base for sporty days on or along the river — cycling, canoeing and walking. If the weather isn’t great, you can visit one of the many caves in the area.
