La Croix du Sud

La Croix du Sud is a campsite in Le Barcarès, in the Pyrenees, in a unique environment only 600 m from the beach. The campsite has marked out pitches. At this campsite in France you can relax doing activities. For the active holiday maker, the campsite has excursion programmes and organised tournaments, there is an aquagym, gym and you can register to join a rafting excursion. There is also an entertainment programme. For those wanting to relax after a busy day there is a whirlpool. The campsite has an outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor pool and toddler’s pool.

After a day full of leisure and sporting activities an evening full of enchanting shows, cabaret or film awaits you. And if you want to have an active evening there are karaoke and dance evenings. There is also plenty for the children to do at the MiniClub during your holiday. You don’t have to cook every day because the campsite has a snack bar, pizzeria and restaurant (snack menu). You can get fresh bread at the campsite. You can also use the internet, the campsite has one or more computers with an internet connection and you can access the internet with your own laptop in 80% of the campsite. Both days and evenings are well filled at the campsite!

Barcarès is a lively seaside resort with many hours of sun, located by the azure blue water of the Mediterranean Sea. As well as the daily fish auctions there is another market. The region is known for its wines.

Camping Croix du Sud is a great base for exploring the beauty of the côte Vermeille and the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The nearby resort of Barcarès has splendid walks and bustling markets. The village of Collioure has an unspoilt location and rugged coastline, just 16km from the Spanish border. For a family day out visit the Aqualand water park in Port Leucate or admire the wildlife at the Réserve Africaine de Sigean near Perpignan.
