La Garangeoire campsite is a five-star site with castle located 15 minutes from the ocean and the beautiful beaches of the Vendée. The wooded 200-hectare site provides space for large camping pitches and great accommodation options. This delightful family campsite in France provides for an enjoyable camping holiday for the whole family, with something for everyone to enjoy. You could spend the day swimming in the heated swimming pool with 3 waterslides and paddling pool or the heated pool with a sliding roof and a sun terrace.

But there is lots more to do on this campsite in France. Compete with your children on the sport fields and enjoy the warm summer evenings in the restaurant garden. Why not spend an afternoon fishing in one of the 3 lakes on the site? Hiking, horse riding, cycling, pedalos, minigolf, trampolining, karting and canoeing are just some of the possibilities on and around the La Garangeoire campsite. There’s just so much to do here, from tennis, which is free in early and late summer, to fishing and boating on the lake. For the little ones there is a free-of-charge kids' club during the high season. Why not spoil yourself in the new wellness centre?

If you just can't choose what to do, why not have fun with the entertainment team? The programme of activities during both the high and low season is packed with great things to do. Special activities at La Garangeoire are diving and snorkelling courses (for an additional charge).

Enjoy the peace and quiet of La Garangeoire at night – between 10pm and 8am there is absolute silence (including the entertainment which continues only until 10.30pm and midnight during high season). You are guaranteed a good night's sleep! But before you make your way to bed, why not enjoy an evening in the modern restaurant and bar overlooking the superb pool or alternatively how about a quiet drink in the cosy pub style bar which is located in the tastefully converted outbuildings of the château.

The surroundings of La Garangeoire are stunning, and in addition to the ocean and great beaches you'll find forests, sloping hills, ponds and meadows. This campsite in France is also the perfect base for exploring the better known and lesser known heritage of the Vendée. There is plenty to see, do and visit – historical attraction park Puy du Fou, a zoo, aqua park, breathtaking countryside, castles and beaches. The Vendée enjoys a mild maritime climate throughout the year, often referred to as a 'microclimate' thanks to the sun. The western area of the Vendée basks in over 2300 hours of sunshine every year, comparable with the south of France and the reason for its nickname Côte de Lumière or 'sun coast'.
