Centrally located in the Vechtdal (Overijssel) and in the middle of forests, fens, heaths and charming villages lies camping Ommerland, a child-friendly campsite with a long tourist tradition. Camping Ommerland was previously known as camping Besthmenerberg.

Camping Ommerland is a family campsite with its own atmosphere, for everyone who wants to enjoy the peace, space and nature and all the good things the Vechtdal has to offer. This beautiful campsite in Ommen has spacious camping pitches and 6 modern toilet blocks. Furthermore, it is a nice campsite with a very nice recreation program and a very nice playground. There is really no getting bored at this campsite.

The site is spacious (85 ha.) and offers a wooded and natural environment for enjoying peace and space. All camping guests can enjoy swimming in the indoor and outdoor swimming pool (with paddling pool). For the youngest visitors there is a heated paddling pool and a large playground.

In addition, the campsite offers various facilities, such as a restaurant, bar, snack bar, sports field, recreation program during the school holidays, launderette, toilet blocks, baby rooms and a camping supermarket. From the campsite you can make beautiful cycling and walking tours and various fun trips with the children, such as the amusement park Slagharen and the animal park Emmen. Discover the beautiful surroundings of camping Ommerland on horseback. Because at the center of the campsite is a riding school where you can hire horses or ponies for a nice ride in the countryside. You can even bring your own horse on holiday.
