Beschrijving
Molecaten Park Waterdunen is a special dune campsite a short distance from Breskens near the Waterdunen nature reserve of the same name. The camping site is spread over 5 dune pans and for the real camper this is a beautiful natural holiday spot in Zeeuws Vlaanderen. Waking up in the morning with this view over the water is quite an experience. In addition to camping pitches, glamping tents and nice holiday homes, the campsite also has a special motorhome pitch. The Waterdunen is the perfect place for a nice beach or nature holiday.
Glamping in the dunes
The doors of this new campsite/holiday park will open in the spring of 2023, act quickly. How about the 6 person holiday home Tureluur. You can enjoy the surrounding nature from your covered terrace. And you can also glamp here in a fully furnished Lodge tent with veranda and private sanitary facilities.
The location of the campsite is great for nature lovers
Walk into the unique nature reserve De Waterdunen (dogs are not welcome here). Visit the fine beaches of Breskens and Groede in the area (dogs on a leash) or cycle from village to village. If you are on holiday with children, the beaches are of course great, but there are also fun attractions nearby. Think of the Bambini play palace in Vlissingen, children's paradise 't Krekeltje in Eede or the indoor recreation center Toversluis Family Fun Parc in Sluis. For a snack and a drink you can visit the center of Breskens with its cozy restaurants and terraces.
A piece of Dutch coast with Belgian allure
The province of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen borders directly on cozy Belgium. The Flemish cities of Bruges, Ghent, Knokke and even Antwerp are definitely worth a day trip. The town of Breskens is a fishing village with a nice fishing museum. The fishing boats still bring their catch ashore here every day, where it is immediately offered for sale. The marina, shops and restaurants make Breskens very popular with tourists. You should certainly not miss the places Sluis and Oostburg. The typical Zeeland-Flemish country certainly invites you for a relaxing bike ride. Take the bicycle pedestrian ferry from Breskens, and within 20 minutes you will be on the 'other side' with the towns of Middelburg and Vlissingen. The beaches of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen are famous as a location for shark teeth. Many people come here regularly to look for these thousands of years old black teeth.
