Located just opposite the "défilés de Ruoms", a scenic route hewn out of the mountainside, and right in the heart of the Southern Ardèche, the "Le Petit Bois" campsite offers you a beautiful, calm, natural setting where you can soak up the sun or cool off in the shade as you prefer.

Le Petit Bois campsite has an altitude of 920m and is just 800 m from Ruoms town centre, the tourist and commercial centre of the southern Ardèche. Come and enjoy a nature holiday in the heart of this beautiful region of rivers. The holiday park has up-to-date infrastructure and excellent facilities. The location of Camping Le Petit Bois is ideal for holidaymakers: as well as being so close to Ruoms, it’s just 600 m from the beach.

Le Petit Bois campsite has a covered pool (heated in low season) with children’s pool and water slide; another separate swimming pool; a playground, bar, pizzeria, restaurant, snack bar and widescreen TV. Guests will find a range of relaxing activities and will appreciate the leisure pool complex but there are plenty of outdoor sports on offer besides.

The unspoilt countryside around Ruoms enjoys protected status. It’s much loved for its mild, Mediterranean climate and crystal clear rivers. The old town, surrounded by spectacularly well-preserved walls, is well worth visiting for its attractive shopping streets. Le Petit Bois is an excellent starting point for visiting the Gabarit Viaduct, the National Resistance Monument, Mont Mouchet, the Ecomuseum de la Margeride, the bison reserve and the wolf park. Less than 10 km from the campsite is the popular Vallon Pont d’Arc, a natural arch bridge that the water of the Ardèche has carved out of the rock.
