The nearby medieval town of Sommières is a short drive away, and the residents here are very proud of its history. There is a large local market in the town as well as night markets. A medieval fair is held here every spring. Further afield is the city of Montpellier, well worth a day out. Here in Montpellier there is also a popular aquarium - one of the biggest in France.
