Grande Italia campsite is under new management and they’re keen for you to see for yourself what a good job they’ve done of completely renovating it.

Grande Italia campsite will be a pleasant surprise, just 500 m from the town centre of Sottomarina and from the promenade in the Veneto region. It has direct access to the sea and is located close to Venice. Sottomarina is a wonderful destination that attracts many tourists because of its excellent geographical location: you’re within reach of Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona and Rovigo.

The classic combination of sun, sea and sand is here alright — and this beach is one where windsurfing and sailing are allowed. However, you might just want to take the children to play in the sand or flop in the sun. The more active camper will appreciate the opportunity to go for long walks or bike rides along this stretch of coast and into the hinterland.

Pitches at Grande Italia campsite are available both in full sun and in the shade. Campers appreciate the peace and quiet here, and also the peace of mind that comes with having a well-protected camping pitch. The facilities will meet all your expectations:
as there’s a snack bar, a restaurant and a pizzeria on site, you’ll really feel like you’re on holiday and won’t have the bother of cooking every meal yourself. There is some play equipment for the children, who can also have great fun getting stuck in to beach volleyball, table tennis or boules, or can join in at the mini-club. Camping Grande Italia is not far from a lovely sandy beach for you to soak up the Adriatic sun. Themed parties are held on the beach some evenings; it’s quite an experience.
