Villaggio Camping Gilda is a small Italian campsite located directly on the Adriatic Sea in the Abruzzo region. The beaches in this region are child-friendly. This neat, compact campsite is situated just a 15-minute walk from the pleasant seaside resort of Roseto degli Abruzzi. Furthermore, the campsite lies in the heart of the "Riserva Naturale del Borsacchio" nature reserve. Pitches, Bungalows & Pet-Friendly Stays

Pets are welcome both on the campsite pitches (provided they are kept on a lead) and in the rental accommodations. The campsite has 100 pitches for tents and caravans, alongside fully equipped mobile homes and small bungalows with verandas. Guests renting a bungalow can also make use of sun loungers on the beautiful beach.

Activities & Entertainment

During peak season, the entertainment team organises engaging activities, and in the evening, you can enjoy live musical performances over a drink. The local area offers scenic cycling routes as well as various sporting activities. The campsite regularly organises guided cultural excursions (available for an additional fee). Tennis courts and swimming pools are just a 10-minute drive away, and an 18-hole golf and country club is located 30 km from the campsite.

Camping Gilda is the perfect base for exploring all the sights of this scenic region. Abruzzo is rich in natural beauty, home to three large national parks and one regional park: Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga, Maiella, Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise, and Velino-Sirente. The Abruzzo National Park is particularly renowned for its wild brown bears. Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park (just under an hour’s drive away) is an exceptional hiking and recreation area. Camping Villaggio Gilda is a 35-minute drive from Pescara and its airport. From Pescara, you can also take a boat to visit the Tremiti Islands.
