Accommodation on campsite Orbitur Costa de Caparica

campsite Orbitur Costa de Caparica, Lisbon

Orbitur Costa de Caparica is a not too large three-star campsite on the peninsula just south of Lisbon. There is plenty of shade, but the trees in the new part are still young. The plots are nice and spacious and are separated by green hedges. Most guests come here to visit Lisbon, but this Portuguese campsite itself also offers excellent facilities and fun entertainment. The children can play there, there is a cozy bar and the restaurant offers a wide choice. A path takes you a few hundred meters to the beach.

Sun, sea, beach and Lisbon
The campsite is located on the edge of the town of Costa de Caparica and just 200 meters from the beach. The city is a lively seaside resort and especially popular with people who want to escape the busy city life at the weekend. With 15 km of sandy beach, there is enough space for everyone to fully relax. There is a long boulevard on the beach where you can find all kinds of bars and restaurants. The atmosphere on the boulevard is very pleasant. Especially in the summer months, when the bars and restaurants stay open until late at night!

Discover the Portuguese west coast from the campsite
An excellent opportunity to discover Lisbon. The city of fado music, of the great explorers and of the seven hills that you can reach with lifts, cog railways and funny old trams. Visit the uniquely designed zoo with the children, which was built as part of the world exhibition. A large bridge connects the city with the peninsula across the mouth of the Tagus, but you can also park the car for a few euros a day and take the ferry into the city. The bridge looks very similar to the one in San Francisco and was a gift from the Americans after the Second World War. On the side of the peninsula, the bridge pier is flanked by an enormous Christ figure, reminiscent of the statue in Rio de Janeiro.

A little further away is Setúbal, and the entire coast between both cities is called Costa de Caparica, known for its pine forests and beautiful sandy beaches.
