At just 40 miles from Koblenz, you can find the green campsite Bockenauer Schweiz. A Glamping campsite in Germany, with Safari tents and other rental accommodations. This quiet and small campsite with 60 pitches lies right in the middle of Rheinland-Pfalz, the green heart of Germany. Not far from the lovely cities of Trier, cochem and Mainz. At the edge of the Soonwald, German culture gets combined with Dutch hospitality. The owners are the family Gent, from Holland, they find pleasure in healping their guests find their way around the campsite. The well-maintained sanitary facilities, the hospitable restaurant with terrace, the playground and the diversity of rental accommodations make this campsite very attractive for a holiday to Germany!

Nature, Peace and Quiet
If your staying in one of the Safaritents, you can make use of the modern sanitary facilities on the campsite. At Bockenauer Schweiz you can also rent mobile homes with a cosy terrace for max 4 sleeps. Or perhaps you fancy one of the appartments more? These are suited for 2-3 persons max. Are you looking for accommodation with a slightly smaller group, then the detached holiday homes are suited for max 6 persons. Furthermore, when you are just passing by and need a accommodation to spend 1 or 2 nights while hiking or biking you can rent one of the wooden cabins, without sanitary facilities.

On the campsite you can find multiple small streams, where the kids can play. Next to these streams, there is also a large fishing pond and a jeu-de-boules field. Fancy a bite after a long day? Bockenauer Schweiz has a lovely restaurant on campsite, here you can enjoy the traditional German cuisine with a German beer. In the high season you can take a dip in the big above ground swimming pool.

Surrounded by national parks and beautifull cities
From the campsite you can make various bike- and hike routes. At a short distance from the campsite you can find a horse riding school, and various other fishing spots. You will be amazed by the authentic villages, castles and cities (like Mainz, Koblenz, Cochem, Loreley or Kaserlautern).

Just 1,5 miles east of this green campsite you can find the village of Bockenau. This is the place to go for your daily groceries and some restaurants. In Winterburg (approx 3 miles) you can find a small local swimming pool, and in Bad Sobernheim you can find a larger pool with wellness facilities. Another worthwhile attraction would bet he Barfußpfad in Bad Sobernheim; here you can walk across 300 million year old earth with your bare feet.
