The facilities on this child-friendly campsite are all well maintained; ofcourse the sanitary facilites are kept clean and modern. For visitors with disabilities the campsite has a special facility, making sure they can enjoy their visit as well. Furthermore, you can find a laundry machine on the holiday park, a swimmingpool, trampoline, and multiple more sport activities.

The campsite is spacious and the pitches offer a great overview of the park. Making it the ideal spot for camping with younger children. Playing with friends should offer no problems, and mum and dad can watch over them from their tent while reading a book or using the campsite's Wifi (surplus).

Child-friendly campsite with swimming pool
The heated swimming pool of this mini campsite offers a great view of the surroundings and has a spacious terrace. The heated swimming pool is not suited for dives or cannonballs, however the water temperature is already pretty comfortable in the early-season. In the high-season multple activities will be organised for the children, like a children disco, board games, hand crafts, or a lesson in pancake baking. And let's not forget the trampoline and the playground for when they're off with their friends. Cars are prohibited on campsite, apart from taking your baggage to the tent.

At Vallée de Lignac, there is no need to do 'anything'!
However, you can do lots of things if you want! What about a visit to the national park 'La Brenne', where you explore the more than 1000 small lakes. Or go explore the direct surroundings of the park on bike, on foot, on horse back, or even by canoe... In less than 6 miles (ca. 10 km) you can find the small town of Belabre, where they have a swimming lake with slide and beach. And the surroundings offer multiple small villages with characteristic French markets. For day trips you can visit the safari-zoo 'Parc La Haute Touche', the amusement park 'Futuroscope', or you can explore the old railroads by Velorail.

Getting hungry from all those activities? At Vallée de Lignac there is a possibility to reserve a seat during the Table d'Hôtes. This original French tradition offers a 3-course meal, and a childrens menu for the little ones. The owners use as much ingredients from their own allotments as possible, and get the rest from nearby farmers. There is also a wood-fired oven for delicious pizza's.

Vallée de Lignac rents spacious safari-tents, fully equipped and with wooden flooring. Furthermore, they have some fully equiped bungalow tents and pitches for your own accommodations for rent.

Not very fond of camping? They also offer a Gîte/vacation house, fully equipped for 4 guests.
