Playa Montroig Camping Resort is a beautiful, luxurious family campsite on Spain's Costa Dorada. Tropical swimming pools and thrilling waterslides

The impressive Garden Pool complex is one of Playa Montroig's main attractions. Set among palm trees, it features four beautiful outdoor swimming pools with waterfalls, waterslides and plenty of inviting places to relax. Some of the pools are heated, so you can enjoy a swim even outside the peak summer season.

For younger children, there is the fantastic Splash Pool, an 850 m² aquatic play area. With interactive water features, two slides, fountains and a giant tipping bucket, little ones can enjoy hours of splashing fun. Meanwhile, parents can unwind on a sun lounger or enjoy a refreshing drink at the pool bar.

Direct access to a beautiful sandy beach

Step straight from the campsite onto the wide sandy beach of the Mediterranean Sea. Stretching for almost a kilometre alongside the campsite, the beach is perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles or enjoying a refreshing swim in the sea. Fancy something a little more active? At the Beach Club, you can enjoy beach volleyball, kayaking and pedal boating. It is the perfect place to soak up the sunshine and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Costa Dorada.

Kids' clubs, sports and entertaining evening shows

There is plenty to keep everyone entertained at Playa Montroig, both in and out of the water. The Mini and Junior Clubs organise a variety of fun activities, including arts and crafts, face painting, games and creative workshops. The friendly mascot Roggi adds even more excitement for younger guests. There are also playgrounds and excellent sports facilities, including tennis and padel courts, football pitches, basketball and mini golf.

Adults will find plenty to enjoy too. Keep fit at the fitness centre or join one of the many sporting activities. In the evenings, the whole family can enjoy lively shows and entertainment at the open-air theatre, La Plaça.

This beautifully maintained campsite has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. There are several restaurants, bars, a supermarket and shops. Whether you fancy a delicious Mediterranean meal or a relaxed evening out, there is no need to leave the campsite.

Looking for some well-deserved relaxation? Visit the Spa & Wellness Centre, featuring a sauna, Turkish steam bath, hot tub and relaxation area. Massages and beauty treatments are also available. You can also hire bicycles on site to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Explore Cambrils, Tarragona and experience PortAventura

There is plenty to discover beyond the campsite. Visit the charming fishing town of Cambrils, approximately 10 km away, with its picturesque harbour, lovely shops and excellent seafood restaurants. For an unforgettable family day out, head to nearby PortAventura World, where thrilling rollercoasters and attractions offer fun for all ages.

The historic city of Tarragona, with its impressive Roman remains, is also well worth a visit. Alternatively, take a trip to Reus, renowned for its beautiful Modernist architecture.
